Whoever “Grandpa” is had the aptly thought when inventing these fire forks. They are fantastic for camping, mainly when backpacking, to use for cooking nearly the fire. The ingenius plastic covers keep them from poking things in your pack. They are lightweight and simple to pack because they do not have a long handle like additional fire forks. Simply use any stick you find! LOVE THESE!

Sure, if you find the exact stick (or whittle one down) at the exact part it’ll hold a marshmallow, but it just wasn’t solid. Cleanup in the field was a pain too. I finished up throwing away the two we used (lost one of the caps, really). I have two more, but they’ll be modest for backyard camping under top surprise conditions.

I like the telescoping kind I bought at a community generous goods pile much surpass.
