I took this manufactured goods with me on our annual girls camping trip. Campfires were prohibited due to the severe dry/hot weather we’d had this year – In Washington, it’s been the hottest/driest summer on record. Having the Fire RIng for all to delight in at night gave us the right suspicion of a campfire. It’s simple to set up, Simple to use, and LEGAL in campgrounds because it’s a top surprise fire. All really loved being able to sit nearly the “campfire” and share our tales, sing, laugh, and make for a memorable camping trip. THanks Camp Chef. Portable Fire RIng will be a staple at prospect camping actions.

We just received our camp chef last night and were happily surprised by the size of the fire. Conception some of the compliants I was apprehensive about it being a very tiny flame, but that is not the case. The fire was practically large(flames over a foot tall) and warm when turned on full. We ran it for about 4 hours last night and had no harms with it. Also the hose that was built-in was longer than we probable. From some of the before compliants we were in the family way a 3 foot hose, but the one provided was about 5-6 feet long which was bounty long enough for us. It did not come with logs, but did come with 3 bags of lava rocks- we only looked-for 2 to completly take in the fire ring.

The hissing noise is a bit annoying at initially, but with a modest while you dont even hear it.

    Pros:
    No fire smell
Allows you to have a fire when fire ban in look
Simple to use- hook up and delight in
    Compact size when not by
Carrying case and cooking forks built-in

    Cons:
    Hissing noise
Faint smell of propane with initially lighting

This item, as experienced person while camping and at home worked perfectly. At initially it does not feel as even if it will work, but once the ceramic logs and lava rocks heat up, then this firepit puts out excellent heat. We tried it while camping, and it was exceptionally turbulent, but the wind never place the flame out.

The carry bag works excellent as well, holding the hose and keeping the ceramic logs and lava rocks in place.

I agree that the hose could be a modest longer, to keep the propane tank additional away.
